Day four - flying along in sunshine

10 February 2013

Coming up to the end of my 4th day at sea at 1705 UTC. Had power problems this morning which worried me for a few hours. The autopilot is using a lot of juice and there has been cloud cover and rain squalls which meant my solar panels were not charging the lithium battery. However, since then I am now flying along in sunshine, blue skies, puffy clouds and listening to The Who. The conditions are on the limit for me and I'm loosing out on rest as it is so wild. Crash, bang...what was that? is what has been going through my mind constantly. The weather is due to get stronger over the next two days....hhmm...not really looking forward to that. I would like to have just one or two days of lighter weather so I can take control...the cabin is in a mess and I am starting to feel very itchy not having had a chance to clean myself yet! Eating well and sucking up my Arbonne Protein which is a God send. Easy to use in these rough conditions.

I've been thinking about my Uncle Mike today, who's flower I am taking across with me and I know this will help Diana, Glyn and Zoe.

Not only am I racing against the clock (watching my Bremont wrist watch every hour!), but I am also racing Poul and Sophia Jensen who planted some tomatoes the day I left and want to see how they do in 40 days of growing! Its a shame I'm not going to Antigua where they live, because I could then enjoy a nice Tomato salad!!!

That's all I can on the blog as I have to watch my power consumption for a few days.
